  • In the case of Gansu Binhe Food Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. vs. Sichuan Yibin Wuliangye Group Co., Ltd. for trademark opposition review, Hengdu acted on behalf of Binhe Food Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. The Supreme People’s Court supported Hengdu’s argument that registration of trademark“滨河九粮液”shall be approved. This case was listed as one of the 50 Typical Intellectual Property Cases in Chinese Courts in 2017.
  • Hengdu represented Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group Shenmu Tianyuan Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. for patent infringement dispute with Intellectual Property Office of Yulin and Xixia Longcheng Special Materials Co., Ltd. This case was listed as one of the Top 10 Intellectual Property Cases in 2017 by the Supreme People’s Court for violation of legal procedures by Intellectual Property Office of Yulin. Hengdu successfully invalidated the other party’s patent and managed to realize the desired case result for the client.
  • In the case of dispute over trademark “泰山大帝”, the Supreme People’s Court fully supported Hengdu’s argument about whether the disputed trademark infringed on religious belief and had an adverse effect. This case was listed as Case of the Gazette of the Supreme People’s Court of the People’s Republic of China, and was published in the first issue of the Gazette of the Supreme People’s Court of the People’s Republic of China in 2017.
  • The case of retrial for dispute over trademark infringement on “非诚勿扰” of Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation was listed as Top 10 Cases of Judicial Protection of Intellectual Property in 2016 by Guangdong Higher People’s Court, and was also listed as one of the Top 10 Intellectual Property Cases by the Supreme People’s Court.
  • In the case of dispute over unfair competition concerning prior registered domain name “quna.com”, the Supreme People’s Court supported Hengdu’s argument in the retrial, making the judgement that similar domain names can coexist for a long period. This case was selected as Top 10 Intellectual Property Cases of the Supreme People’s Court in 2014.
  • In the series cases of Wolsey, Hengdu’s argument that unregistered trademark could also be permitted for use by others was supported by the Supreme People’s Court in the retrial. This case was selected as Guiding Case of the Year by Supreme People’s Court in 2013.
  • In the case of infringement on trademark “金盾”, the repeated infringement of trademark “金盾”by Beijing Jindun Shidai Building Waterproof Engineering Co., Ltd. was considered emphatically as the factor for increasing the compensation. Court of second instance and court of retrial supported the claim of Hengdu’s client (Beijing JINDUN Building Materials Co., Ltd.) in the first instance for compensation of RMB 500,000 in full.
  • In the first instance, second instance and retrial of case of Cathay Industrial Biotech Ltd. concerning infringement of the right to the undersigning of patent inventor, Hengdu’s argument was supported by Beijing Higher People’s Court and the Supreme People’s Court. This case was honored as “First Case concerning Patent in China” in 2012.
  • In the case concerning infringement of patent of invention, Hengdu was entrusted by Beijing Yingtelai Technology Co., Ltd. in the retrial and managed to win the case with the argument supported by the Supreme People’s Court.
