Ms. Cao is a member of the insurance law professional committee of Beijing Lawyers Association. She focused on commercial and insurance dispute resolution for over a decade. Ms. Cao has rich experience in commercial litigation and arbitration, especially in complicated litigation, arbitration disputes and insurance contract disputes. Her notable clients include: Coca-Cola, Dyson, China Great Wall Securities Co., Ltd., Sinopec Group, Foton Lovol, THE EXPORT-IMPORT BANK OF CHINA, COCFO, CITIC Trust, Maimai app, Continental Insurance Brokers Limited, PICC, China Life Insurance (Group) Company, Sinosure, Ping An Property& Casualty Insurance Company of China, TAI PING Property Insurance Co., Ltd, Huatai Property Insurance Co., Ltd., BOC Insurance Co., Ltd, Sunshine Property Insurance Group, AIU, AIA, China and the United State metropolitan, etc.

Ms. Cao graduated from Peking University Law School with an LLM degree.  She has handled a large number of insurance disputes, including personal insurance, property insurance and insurance subrogation disputes. 

• Represented SINOPEC Sales Co., Ltd., SINOPEC Yunnan oil branch in connect with its rejection of trade dispute with Yunnan yingding Bio Energy Co., Ltd.. The case was tried by Kunming intermediate people's Court and Yunnan Higher People's Court, and retrial by the Supreme People's Court (the first anti-monopoly case of China's petroleum industry);

• Represented Beijing taoyoutianxia Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing taoyoutianxia Technology Development Co., Ltd. (Maimai APP) in connect with its unfair competition dispute with Beijing Weimengchuangke Network Technology Co., Ltd. (Sina Weibo). The case was tried by Beijing Haidian District People's Court and Beijing Intellectual Property Court (the case was rated as a top 10 IP Case in 2016 by Beijing Higher People's Court) ;

• Represented Tianjin Coca Cola Beverage Co., Ltd., and Chengde Branch of Tianjin Coca Cola Beverage Co., Ltd in connect with its property damage compensation dispute with Hebei Chengde Agricultural Science Research Institute, Chengde Runbao Trading Co., Ltd., Chengde Huahai Logistics Co., Ltd. The case was tried by Chengde Intermediate People's Court and Hebei Higher People's Court, and retrial by the Supreme People's Court;

• Represented Dyson Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd in connect with its contract dispute with Beijing Xibao Power Network Technology Co., Ltd. The case was tried by the People's Court of Dongcheng District of Beijing Municipality and the second Intermediate People's Court of Beijing Municipality;

• Represented Huatai Property Insurance Co., Ltd. Beijing Branch in connect with its insurer's right of subrogation dispute with Chengde Academy of agriculture and forestry, Chengde Runbao Trading Co., Ltd. The case was tried by the People's Court of Shuangqiao District of Chengde City and the Intermediate People's Court of Chengde City, and retrial by the Higher People's Court of Hebei Province (This case was rated as t a top 10 Insurance Litigation Case of 2019 by China Insurance Industry Association);

• Represented Fuzhou Chengbei Branch of PICC in connect with its export credit insurance contract dispute with Fuzhou Dongyu daily necessities Co., Ltd. The case was tried by the Gulou District People's Court of Fuzhou City and the Intermediate People's Court of Fuzhou City, and retrial by the Higher People's Court of Fujian Province;

• Represented Bank of China Insurance Co., Ltd. Beijing Branch in connect with its property insurance contract dispute with Beijing Huiyuan Beverage and Food Group Co., Ltd., Huiyuan ecological industry Zhongxiang Development Co., Ltd. The case was tried by the People's Court of Dongcheng District of Beijing Municipality and the Second Intermediate People's Court of Beijing Municipality;

• Represented Taiping Property Insurance Co., Ltd. Qingdao Branch in connect with its property insurance contract dispute with Qingdao Haojia home integration Co., Ltd. The case was tried by the People's Court of Chengyang District and the Intermediate People's Court of Qingdao;

• Represented China Export-Credit Insurance Company Guangdong Branch in connect with its credit insurance contract dispute with a supply chain company. The case was arbitrated by Beijing Arbitration Commission;

• Represented Beijing Branch of China Life Insurance Company Limited in connect with its insurer's right of subrogation dispute with Beijing Xiangyun Shuntong Logistics Co., Ltd. The case was tried by the People's Court of Shunyi District, Beijing;

• Represented Beijing Branch of China and the United State metropolitan in connect with life insurance contract dispute with Su XX and Yue XX. The case was tried by the Beijing Railway Transport Court and the Fourth Intermediate People's Court of Beijing Municipality, and retrial by the Beijing Higher People's Court;

• Represented AIA Beijing Branch in connect with life insurance contract dispute with Li XX. The case was tried by the Beijing Railway Transport Court and the Fourth Intermediate People's Court of Beijing Municipality.
